Description

The 68231242AF Genuine Mopar Outside Rear-View Mirror Assembly is intended for the passenger-side front door on specified 2015–2020 Ram 1500, Ram 1500 Classic, and Ram 2500 trucks, establishing a right-side viewing area for monitoring surrounding road activity. By positioning the mirror surface outside the passenger compartment, its dedicated housing and attachment structure provide a consistent rearward reference while accommodating the mounting provisions associated with the truck's exterior mirror configuration.

Directs the driver's view toward traffic traveling behind the passenger-side door
Establishes an observation area beyond the coverage of the interior rear-view mirror
Holds the exterior assembly at the corresponding right front door mounting position
Supports awareness of nearby obstacles during parking and restricted clearance maneuvers
Maintains the viewing surface outside the passenger window within the designated housing
Accommodates the applicable attachment arrangement and existing exterior mirror equipment configuration

Application Notes

The 68231242AF mirror serves the right exterior position on specified 2015–2020 Ram 1500, Ram 1500 Classic, and Ram 2500 vehicles. Applicable engine configurations include the supplied gasoline, flex-fuel, CNG, and diesel options, but the passenger-side housing and mounting interface must correspond to the vehicle's installed equipment.

Always verify model year, vehicle designation, trim, RH position, mirror housing, adjustment equipment, and electrical connections before installation.
